Dear Voters:

    FIrst, I would like to say thank you to the citizens of Wise County for allowing me the honor of being your Assistant Wise County Attorney for the last three years.  I would also like to thank Greg Lowery for giving me this opportunity to be employed as a representive of his office while he has been your elected County Attorney.

    By no means, am I a politician.  However, the experience and knowledge I have gained over the last three years has afforded me the confidence to handle the role of County Attorney.  Therefore,     
I will gladly throw my hat into the ring of this local election and ask for your all important vote.

    I feel the needs and demands of the County Attorney's Office must be met head-on with a practical experienced application of the law.  I will back this with a common sense approach to resolve different situations that may arise on a daily basis.  As assistant, I have already successfully performed duties of the County Attorney and thus, feel that a seamless transition will occur if elected.

    I already have a very good working relationship with every agency and individual this office represents.  Furthermore, this relationship allows me an understanding of their unique perspective and allows me to properly resolve problems as they arise.

    Everyday, as I walk into work, I look up at the spires on our beautiful courthouse and praise the Lord for my opportunity to work at my job.   I respect my position and do it from a standpoint of my humility for the power of the law not from the power I gain from enforcement of the law.

    With that I humbly ask for your vote to allow me to continue serving the public through the role of your elected County Attorney.

         The Duties of the 
         County Attorney:
 
    Conduct intake and prosecute all criminal cases below a felony from local agencies.  Ex: 1st and 2nd Driving While Intoxicated, Assault Family Violence, Theft under $1500 (including Theft by Check).  

    Work closely with the following agencies:
-Wise County Probation
- Sheriff's Department 
- Department of Public Safety 
-Texas Parks and Wildlife
-Every Wise County Municipal Police Department
-Wise County Domestic Violence Task Force

    File over 2,000 cases a year from the above mentioned agencies.  This figure exceeds any other equivalent size county as Wise County in the State of Texas by more than 1000.   

    Prosecute Class C tickets in all four Justice of the Peace Courts in Wise County.  

    Represent victims of family violence in protective order matters.

    Represent concerned families in civil committment cases.

     Advise the Commissioner's Court and other county offices on civil matters.
